The Welsh valleys are famous for our coal mining history, and Cefn Coed Colliery, in the Dulais valley tells the honest story of how it really was.

A visit to the Colliery will offer the opportunity to experience a part of history that the country prides itself on. With a working steam engine, and a simulated mine you will get a real taste for life down the pit, all within the grounds of a real life former coal mine.
