Sarn Helen Sportif is a cycle race that gives participants the chance to ride amongst the very best scenery that Wales has to offer.
Starting from Llandarcy Academy of Sport close to the M4, with four great climbs, every rider has the choice of taking on the 80 mile route or adding an additional climb to the Llyn Briannie Reservoir north of Llandovery.
The Sarn Helen Trail is an off road trail that heads from Neath to the Brecon area. Whilst our route follows the highway you will be passing through the same country as The Romans followed 2,000 years ago.
This ride is not for the occasional cyclist and all riders should be competent and reasonably fit. Whilst not a race all riders will be timed and therefore this ride is not a leisure ride. We strongly recommend that all cyclists wear a cycle helmet.
